It's a Girl

We had our 19 week pregnancy on the 19/2. Bubby was wriggling so much that Kate needs to go back again this week to finish the scan. They were able to tell us that it is a GIRL!! YEAH! A sister for Elise. Kate and Sean find agreeing on girls names a challenge, but are more than up for it!!

1. 4D scan of bubby with hand on her head.

We had a busy weekend with a wedding of our friend Breda followed by a 40th birthday of Tracey & Peter Baldwin. The 40th was a dress up theme of "favourite movie characters" which was a lot of fun!!

2. All dressed up for Breda's wedding
3. Kate, Joanne, Martina, Bronwyn, Catherine, Kathy & Cynthia outside the church

4. Kate & Elise

5. Tracey, Peter & Josh at 40th (Baby Baldwin due April 27)
6. Catherine & Bronwyn as "Audrey Hepburn"

7. Shrek & Princess Fiona.

Elise is 15 months old now and running......She is looking a lot taller now - hit a spurt!
We are off to Cootamundra on the 8 & 9 March for dad's 10 year anniversary (hard to believe a decade has passed). At this stage Mick, Ang & Toby are going too. Poor Meg can't get time off work. Kate & Elise are flying to Ballina at Easter to see mum, Alan, Meg & Nige while Sean sails the state titles in Sydney this year.

Happy Birthday Daddy

1. Loving the beach! 2. View from the holiday house

3. Daddy daughter fun 4. Yeah Copacabana!

5. Showing Nana the sights of Terrigal.
6. Elise reading "Where is the Green Sheep?" on the car trip.

Happy Birthday to Sean E.
37 years young. We hope he has a happy day and an exciting year with a new bubby and other wonder-filled adventures ahead of him.
We all went away last weekend to Copa...Copacabana on the Central Coast. Kate needed to get out of the city and the daily routine so she could breathe and refresh her senses.....The weather was pretty bleak on Sat but we made the most of the clear patches. Sunday was a gorgeous sunny day- great for walks on the beach. Elise loved being in a new place (takes after her mother in this regard) - running all over the house to explore and climb. Copacabana was like doggy holiday central so Nova hot to meet a heap of dogs on the beach to play with. Nana and Grandad happened to be in Terrigal for the sailing so we got to say hello to them.

Not long now (Feb 19) 'til we find out the whether the baby on its way is a boy or a girl....very exciting!!! Kate is now 18 weeks pregnant- nearly half way....

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO EVERYONE

3. Pretty Blue eyes!. 4. WHAT! Another baby?!

5. Elise and Nova are never far from each other
Well not much to tell you this blog. Where did January go? The year feels like it is well underway. Sean has been really busy at work....Kate has been busy growing a baby, busy chasing Elise and has joined Facebook so there goes all her time and energy.

Elise is on the go- climbing, wandering and carrying items everywhere and emptying everything on the floor. She is responding so much more and is mimicking behaviour like bathing her dolly and patting it to sleep. Amazing to see such a little person in action. Elise is really enjoying playing on the outdoor equipment we are borrowing from the Adlington kids. Big squeals of delight when we go outside!!!!

New Years News

Happy New Year. Hope the year has started off well for everyone.
For NYE we went to Sean's office at Milsons Point to see the 9pm fireworks. We caught the train in and back - joining all the other families. The crowds at the station coming home were something to behold but surprisingly it didn't take us very long at all to get home -phew!
Elise had fun at the office playing with all the office equipment (big boys toys) and then slept soundly through the fireworks display???? Here are a few photos of our big night out...

1. Loveheart- How do they do that? 2. Spectacular display

3. Elise's 1st train ride 4. Playing with giant phone cutout

5. Pushing the exercise ball around.
We have some exciting news for the beginning of 2008. We are expecting another baby in mid July. We are both excited and daunted about having two (beautiful of course) little ones around. Please keep us in your prayers.

6. Amazing 4D scan of our baby at 12 weeks. 7. Smile baby for your photo!

Christmas 2007

Christmas Day for us this year was spent in Sydney with the Edmistons. Natalie, Brett and the boys were down from Newcastle. Nicole was back from Perth and Paul and Jodie were staying in Sydney this year. Mark was in Sydney a few days before Christmas so we had dinner with him before he went back to Townsville.
Elise loves watching and being with her cousins. Her favourite thing is playing with Nana's door stop (who needs presents!) It was a cold day for us this year -only 19 degrees.

1. Kate, Elise & the door stop 2. Elise and Nana

3. Sean & Elise on the trampoline 4. Opening presents

5. Aunty Jodie, Reuben & Otis
6. Our Christmas Angel 7. Aunty Nicole opening presents

Just after Christmas all the Bannons arrived in Sydney for a post chrissy celebration. We had a fish and chips picnic in the park in Cabarita on Sat. On Sun we went into the city for lunch which included a stop at the Lindt chocolate cafe at Cockle Bay (YUM!) It has been a while since we were all in the one place together and we had a lovely time. Toby is chatting away now and has grown so tall and cute and gave us all lots of cuddles.
1. Out to lunch altogether 2. Megan & Mum
3. Megsy & Mick 4. Ang & Micky
5. Toby flashing his bellybutton 6. Elise & Toby
Hope everyone enjoyed their own Christmas festivties- ate to their hearts content and more and had time for lots of Nana naps!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. Hope 2008 is full of moments of amazement and wonder for all....

Walking Girl

Our Mothers Group had a 1st B'day party for all our babies on the weekend. Our babies were born over Oct, Nov & Dec 2006. This was the first time the dads had met up together as well. It was great fun afternoon - lots of play on the swings, slide, cubbyhouse and mini truck!

2. Our little fam Dec 07 3. Playing cubby peekaboo with Briella.

4. On her new bike 5. Loves being pushed around!
Elise started walking this week - very cute. She is wobbling around and landing on her bottom a lot. All the Bannon family are visiting us in Sydney just after Christmas so they will be excited to have Elise toddle up to them!
