We are just back from our drive up North to spend a week with Megs & Nate while Nige went back to work. On our way we called into Sawtell for the night to see our friends the Clarkes. That night we had a BBQ with the Butcher family who also moved to Sawtell from Dubbo. Kate hadn't seen Vincent in 20 years so it was a bit of a school reunion.

We had a wonderful week with Megsy, Nigey & Nate. They are doing a wonderful job. Lovely to be around a little newborn- they smell so delicious don't they!!! Great to be able to have a cuddle each day. We miss them sooo much but plan to skype each other as much as we can.
4 & 5. Baby Nate
He looks a bit like Nige now we reckon.

8 Elise loved to have a "cuggle" 9. Little bub & older bigger bub.
We stayed in a cottage in a gorgeous spot in Alstonville that had views out to the ocean. The below shots are taken from/on our front deck. Elise loved talking to the cows each day as well as the horses and the chickens.
Sean's birthday was spent in Alstonville and we made use of the wood fired pizza oven at the cottages and made our own yummy pizzas.
Yummy ice cream cake. Happy Birthday Daddy
Well so far this year there has been a run of boys having been born. Our friends Mick & Alex as well as Matt and Charlene had baby boys.
For some balance here is a picture of some girls...our friends the O'Neil girls and Elise meet baby Amelia Walker (born in spring 2008) at a BBQ on Australia day this year.
We are off to Hugo's baptism this weekend so we look forward to seeing more cousins, aunties & uncles etc.....
