7 months and on the move

Wow! The year is almost half way over and don't we all feel like it had only just begun... Elise turned 7 months old on the 26th June and our beloved dog Nova turned 2 on the 25th June. Mum Kate had her birthday on the 18th (now too old to mention what age!) Dad Sean surprised Kate by coming home from work to take her out for lunch. Elise surprised us both by sitting in the restaurant like an angel - without a peep and smiling at us all the way through lunch. Dad Sean must have bribed her to be good for the occasion! Grandad and Nana Edmiston then came to our place to cook Kate dinner for her birthday. THANK YOU everyone for your well wishes and the lovely cards and pressies.
Elise is rolling everywhere now (under tables and lounges) and is now able to drag herself forward on her arms. She is lifting herself up onto all fours so we sense that crawling is not very far way. Time to batten down the hatches.

We are off on an adventure into the wild west (Dubbo) this weekend to see family and friends so we will no doubt have a few photos to post on our return.

Long Weekend

First of all the great family shot was taken by our friend Ross at Annie & Antonio's pre-baby BBQ last weekend. We were amazed Ross managed to catch us all smiling.....Thanks Ross. Best wishes to Annie & Antonio for the arrival of baby boy due end of June.

Well we survived the wet wild weather over the weekend without any leaks or floods, unlike many other poor people who have had much destruction. We were without any power for a good part of Saturday until it was restored late in the afternoon so we headed to a shopping centre for the day like many others!!!.

Over the long weekend we had a visit from Megan and Nigel as they flew back from their holiday in Bali. We were glad to see them and THANKS for all the great pressies!!!

On the weekend we also said goodbye to the O'Briens- Chris, Jan, Finn & Lachlan as they are leaving Longueville to head back to Perth. The photo is of Jan (cousin of Sean) with her two boys Finn & Lachlan, Natalie with Otis and Reuben and Sean with Elise. We wish them all the best and will miss having them nearby in Sydney.
