Start of Spring

It is great to be getting outside so often now to enjoy the spring weather.
Jodie, Paul and baby Nina came over for brunch recently to celebrate fathers day for Sean and Paul with their girls!

Here is a picture of daddy and Elise napping in the afternoon with cheeky Gisele laughing at them. As you can see Gisele is busy climbing everything now. Look out!

Here is bubby Nina -3 months old.

Over this weekend we decided to make the most of the sunshine and went to the "Train Shed" for a ride on Thomas, Toby, James and friends.

Gisele was fascinated and studied it all very intently - pointing out the horses and cows along the way.

Elise loves her train rides and could have had ride after ride all day!

Last week we heard some very sad news. We lost our little friend Becky from Mothers Group. Becky and Bella are twin girls born just 3 days after Elise. It was such a shock and the loss of such a young life has such a profound impact. The family are expecting another set of twins so keep them all in your prayers.

Meggy's birthday

We had Meggy, Nate and Nige to stay over the weekend. It was Meg's birthday and in the photos above we are having a little afternoon tea for her and Elise is helping her with the cake - hip hip hooray and blow out all the candles.

Adi & June joined us for afternoon tea too!!

Meg & Nige went off to the PINK concert. We got to babysit Nate which the girls were very excited about. Nate was an angel for us while his mum & dad were out but played up on them the moment they got back. You wonder how bubbies when they are so young can be so knowing!!!!!

Elise adored Nate and helping Meg & Nige look after him.

He is such a smiley, cuddly little fella.

Gisele was full of her cheeky charm and gave Nate lots of enthusiastic pats on the head? Nova dog was Nate's protector and was often guarding him and checking on him when he cried to make sure he was ok.

We were very sad to see them go home and moments after they left Elise said "Let's go to Dubbo now!" We will start planning our next trip to Dubbo for October.

Elise is getting into dress ups and poor Nova has become victim to our little fashionista. Elise decided Nova needed to be covered in styrofoam, put on a hat and wear some fairy wings!! Elise said "Look mummy I done mess!!!".
