Christmas Spirit

Here are some pictures of the 2 year old Elise on her actual birthday. She was very excited. Once Elise's birthday is over it seems like christmas rolls around very quickly.

It has been a busy time but we have had lots of fun catching up with friends. We recently met up with some people from our mothers group to see all the 2/almost 2 year olds. We met up with some friends at Annie's baby shower as well as a few other occasions.

Elise is getting into christmas this year and is loving the trees, lights, presents, santa claus but especially reindeers.
Over the weekend we had Edmiston christmas (Gisele & Hugo's 1st christmas) and the girls loved seeing their cousins and aunts and uncles. Although, Mark & Dani weren't there, we wish them well for their christmas in W.A

Playgroup also had their christmas party this week and Santa gave Elise her 1st barbie doll (shock horror). Mummy wasn't quite prepared for bikini clad barbie dolls just yet!!!

Our Gisele is now 5 months old and loves sitting in her baby seat.

We have a change of plans for christmas and we are now heading to Wollongbar/Ballina. Meggy is unable to travel and needs to stay close to home. It is an amazing coincidence that the Adlingtons will also be close by in Alstonville so we will see them over christmas too. We will be heading to Dubbo for new year now to catch up with everyone.
WE WISH EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE & SUPPORT OVER 2008. WE ARE HOPING 2009 WILL BE A JOYOUS YEAR FOR ALL.

All the fun of the trains

We all had a wonderful afternoon at the little trains for Elise's birthday party on Sat Nov 15. It was a rainy morning so we were very relieved to see it clear up for the afternoon. Here are some photos from the afternoon.

1. Who's party today? 2. Gisele is ready to party

3. The girls 4. The train drivers.
5. Elise & Adam

6. Annie & Marc 7. Reuben, Jodie, Hugo & Paul.

10. Alex. 11. Elise & Otis off to see the trains
Elise had the time of her life and asks every day for "more party trains". One of her favourite games at the moment is to put her teddies and dollies on top of the washing basket or any available surface and play "party trains". Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate with Elise. Amazing to have a 2 year old in our family now who can talk, walk and remember the fun that she had!!

Fun at the fete & Ballina

We recently went to the Melrose Park public school fete and Elise enjoyed her 1st pony ride and petting the animals in the nursery. Elise is really at home with animals and kept saying "more horse".

Gisele is a real cutie pie. Full of cheeky grins and lights up when people talk to her. She chats away around the supermarket.

3. Babies pull the funniest faces 4.With daddy at the fete.
5. Nigel & Gisele 6. Elise & Megsy.
Over the weekend we flew up to Ballina to see Megs & Nige - well really to see Meg's belly (which is growing beautifully). They are heading into the 3rd trimester. Weird seeing my baby sister preggers!! They have been busy gathering things for the bubby. We loved visiting them. Elise was delighted to go on a plane and a bus. Just this morning she packed a few toys into a bag and waved goodbye. When we asked her where she was going she said "see Meg".
Some family photos we had taken recently.

Here are some gorgeous photos Danielle sent to us recently from when the Sparrows and Thompsons came to visit.

We are on the countdown now until Elise's 2nd birthday. Very exciting. Next time we will post some photos from the little trains party on the 15th.

Delightful Spring.

Gisele Abbie Our bubby is now 3 months old and is growing beautifully. She is rolling on to her side now and chatting away.

I am starting to feel a whole lot more energy than I have for a while. That combined with the lovely spring weather makes me feel a whole lot more sociable. At the start of the school holidays I caught the ferry with the girls into the city and met Sean for an afternoon at the aquarium. Elise was fascinated with the shark's teeth.

Nova has even had a spring cut in preparation for summer.

The Adlingtons were visiting from Newcastle during the holidays so the girls got to play with some of their boy cousins! We also caught up with the Sparrows plus Adrian, June & Aunty Gwen.

Elise & Gisele with Joseph and Elizabeth Atkins.
We recently got a swing from Robyn's sister and a cubby house delivered from the Atkins. We are spending a lot of time enjoying the backyard and the nearby parks.

Elise in the cubbyhouse and waving at the door.

Elise makes sure Gisele has her tummy time. Elise at the park.

Just 6 weeks until Elise's 2nd birthday. Hard to believe we will have a 2 year old on our hands. We are heading up to Ballina in a few weeks to see Aunty Meg & Uncle Nige.
